=Ananda inaugurates the new Bank Indonesia Concert Hall, Jan. 12

Indonesia's central bank, Bank Indonesia will inaugurate its wonderful concert hall next week. It has wonderful acoustics, a perfect one for classical music performances with movable sound panels and a capacity for an audience of ca. 450 and Ananda Sukarlan is simply the right musician to open it with his impeccable performance. In this premiere concert Ananda invites the Musicasa vocalists to join him, as well as the young talented guitarrist John Paul. This time there will be 10 vocalists from Musicasa all performing Ananda's beautiful songs with the composer himself accompaning all the vocalists. The maestro will also perform 2 numbers of his highly virtuosic Rapsodia Nusantara.

This opening concert "Ananda Sukarlan plays Ananda Sukarlan" will take place on Wednesday, January 12th at 8 p.m. The address is Auditorium Bank Indonesia, Jl. Thamrin 2. 2. And of course we are looking very much forward to the spectacular Jakarta New Year Concert "Pianississimo" where 4 pianos will be performing on stage. The date, as you know, is Sunday January 9th at 4 p.m, at Auditorium Museum Nasional. Tickets are Rp. 100.000 (silver), Rp. 200.000 (gold) and Rp. 500.000 (platinum) if you reserve now. Tickets to be bought at the venue at the day of the concert, if still available, will be Rp.50.000 higher for every class (which will mean a raise of 50% for the silver tickets!).
